Srimad Bhagavatam is the essence of all scriptures. Bhagavatam is that literature which gave complete satisfaction to its author Srila Vyasadeva who wasn’t fully satisfied with his earlier literary works. The Bhagavatam contains everything relevant for the welfare of the human society.

To facilitate the study of Srimad Bhagavatam by different categories of students, the Bhaktivedanta Vidyapitha Research Centre (BVRC) has been conducting several campus and online courses in the last 8 years. Continuing this effort, the BVRC now facilitates BHAGAVATA PRAVAHA Course for children.

  • Who can teach? – Any initiated ISKCON devotee may conduct this course. Please email to register with BVRC as Bhagavata Pravaha Teacher.
  • Recommended Batch size: 10-25 students of age group 8-15 years
  • Course Material: BHAGAVATA PRAVAHA book by Gauranga Darshan Das*
  • Course Modules: 4 modules of 3 cantos each (each module may be covered in 2-6 weeks)
  • Preparation assistance for teachers: Interested teachers may listen to the Bhagavata Pravaha lecture series by the author for their personal understanding (


  • Assessment material: 
    • BVRC provides the registered teachers a Question bank with objective & subjective type of questions based on each chapter of the Bhagavata Pravaha book. 
    • The teachers may conduct Canto-wise exams for registered children.
    • BVRC also provides a list of 24 Bhagavatam verses to be memorised by the students. Click here for those 24 verses.
  • BVRC Assessment: The BVRC conducts Module-wise exams for the students. After covering a module one (3 cantos) for the students, the teacher may mail for the question paper.
  • Online sessions with author: After successful completion of every two modules, the study group would be given an exclusive opportunity to hear directly from the author for guidance and inspiration to move further in their studies.


  •    For students: BVRC provides module-wise certificates for the students. And a full BHAGAVATA PRAVAHA Certificate for those who successfully pass the exams of all 4 modules.

  •    For Teachers: BVRC also provides BHAGAVATA PRAVAHA Teacher certificate to the teachers upon completion of a batch.

Registration Fee: Rs. 1000/- per student. The proceeds will be utilized for propagating the culture of Srimad Bhagavatam.
